TheUnderkeep is both a learning site, and a boasting site. We house player and notable character profiles for viewing, as well as tutorials, helpfiles, rules, contact information for some of the staff, and even a few free downloads to help you, the roleplayer, get the most out of your online roleplaying experience. Feel free to browse the links to the left and when you get bored visit the site just below to start your own gaming.
You can now add your own player or character profiles to this site as well. Under the menu to your left you'll see the entries of Submit Character Profile and Submit Player profile. What you do is simple: Go to the page and fill out the information. In the image field, put the url where your pic is stored. I'll download it, resize it, and put it up. All profiles will be held for review after submission. This will prevent unwanted content on the site. If you don't have a picture to put in, in the image url just put /images/player/holder.gif or if it's a character, then just put in /images/characters/holder.gif. That will put up the default holder image file. Pictures are preferred though. :)
All forms have a number verification on them now. This is to prevent bots from filling out the forms and submitting junk to the files. If you can't read the numbers or have trouble with the script, PM me in the forums on RPGHost. I'll look into the problem and we'll get a solution for you.
The forums that were being housed here are gone. After I updated the last ones so we wouldn't get hacked (It happened on the other site) I only got 4 new users to sign up within three weeks time. I don't see a reason to house forums nobody is interested in. If I get enough requests I might put them back up. That's all for now!
Joining a ongoing game isn't always so easy. Some have closed plots or plots that follow a specific timeline. It's always best to whisper the moderator of any room before openly posting and asking if you may join in. Public rooms such as the Mainhall, Pub, East and West Tower, Garden and Arena are always open for joining, no invite needed.
If you've read the rules and you still have some questions on how to do things around the site, check out the Keep Helpfile link to your left. That page describes how to change rooms, emote actions, and even whisper other people in the chat. The Technical file describes errors that happen in the chat and how to avoid them.
